Nollywood actor Yul Edochie took to social media to offer some bold advice to single women waiting for marriage proposals.

In a recent post, the actor reached out to a social media priest to encourage women to follow his advice and propose to their husbands if their boyfriends postpone their engagements.

Yul Edochie called on his followers to buy a ring and propose to their husbands themselves if they are worried.

According to him, marriage should not be restricted by established gender norms and it doesn't matter who proposes.

In his words:

“Ladies, if you’re waiting for your man to propose marriage to you and he’s wasting time, buy a ring and propose to him.

There’s nothing wrong with it.

It doesn’t matter who says the words.
