Daddy Freeze brags about the price of his watch after court sentences him to 5 million naira fine for adultery

Former pensioner Daddy Freeze spoke out after a judge fined him five million naira for adultery.


The court decision was upheld by the Court of Appeal and stems from a 2021 legal dispute between Daddy Freeze, his wife and ex-husband.


A High Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, fined the media star five million naira for having sex with a woman to whom he was still legally married at the time.


In a video on his YouTube channel, Daddy Freeze explained that the court order was obtained in his absence.


He claimed that he, like many of his supporters, was surprised by the ruling. He said he would appeal to the Court of Appeal for a fair sentence.


However, Daddy Freeze's appeal was dismissed for lack of merit. The court suggested he should have filed a counter-affidavit challenging the prison oath to nullify the court's sentence.


In an Instagram Live video, Daddy Freeze showed off his luxury watch, saying the watch alone was worth more than 100 million naira, indicating he does not mind the fine.


He maintains his innocence and sees the incident as a pain he and the woman inflicted on him in the past.

He said:

“I Will Pay The N5Million Adultery Fine; my Watches alone Cost Over N100Million, But I Am Innocent, and I will not lose; I am innocent; this happened Many years ago. I was Going Through serious Torment, so was the lady, and we both Jam many years later in Church; this happened over 12 years ago”.
