Ray-Ray McElrathbey (Jay Reeves) is a freshman football player at Clemson University who is struggling to balance his academic and athletic commitments while also caring for his younger brother Fahmarr (Thaddeus J. Mixson). When Ray-Ray's home life becomes too unstable, he secretly brings Fahmarr to live with him on campus.
